However, all else withstanding, she is a genius. See the intention in her eyes in part one, no matter her inebriation? There are few greats in this world. Elaine is one of them.

This is extraordinary. No joke. What a moving glimpse into the vagaries of the creative process. Sondheim in despair. Stritch feeling futile. Even they have long days sometimes. Quite compelling.
And, for Stritchy, what a difference some eyeshadow makes...
