Going Down in History
On the train home last night, after a long day of work and rehearsal, and before another long day of work and rehearsal, I smiled. Why? Because a strange weirdo was singing "Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer." Brilliant. Some people on the other side of train even started singing along. I was about two shakes away from adding "like a lightbulb!"

I have an image in my head of all this going on and you sitting there enjoying yourself but also debating joining in... we can see it on your face...
Then, the next day, while sitting on the subway, you catch through the window of the rear door of the next car, an impromptu danceline and chorus sing-a-long from a musical transpiring...
You race to the window, pressing your face against it, watching the joyful proceedings.
What the hell's going on?
And why aren't I in that car instead?
SOMEthing's going down, man.
Meanwhile, I am suddenly so freaking hungry right now I can't tell you.

Re:Project 365.
The ORIGINAL Project 365: Suzan Lori-Parks' 365 DAYS/365 PLAYS, that is.
Yesterday was one of the few times I picked up a Friday BUFFALO NEWS to read the GUSTO. Mostly interested if GRINDHOUSE was still playing. I haven't seen it and I wound up being sick this past week which further confounded my GRINDHOUSE viewing plans. But since it's been playing so poorly box office-wise, I've been worried that it was going to leave the theaters soon.
Bla bla bla bla...
Hence, I have this week's GUSTO.
Cool news/bad news: Week 24 of 365 DAYS/365 PLAYS is being performed at UB next weekend, 4/26 and 4/27.
But with a very strange and exciting twist!
